FOREST GROVE, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark softball team could not overcome the Pacific Boxers on Saturday afternoon in a Northwest Conference double-header, falling 10-1 (six innings) and 7-0.
The Pioneers fall to 2-6 on the season and 0-2 in the NWC. Pacific improves to 8-3 overall and 4-3 in conference.
The Pioneers lone run of the day came in the first game, when Jamie Moon came around to score on a wild pitch in the first inning. Moon led off the inning with a walk, before making her way around the bases on a double from Caroline DeVincenzi.
Lewis & Clark returns to action on March 6 at 12 p.m. when they host the Linfield Wildcats at Rosemont Middle School.
