PORTLAND, Ore.—First-year Lewis & Clark College men's basketball head coach Shanan Rosenberg announced an incoming class of one first-year and five transfers ahead of the official start of the 2025-26 season.
"We are very excited about our incoming players. They are all terrific people who are clearly intelligent by virtue of choosing Lewis & Clark College," Rosenberg said. "I think all of our new players have an opportunity to make an impact in an important way on and off the court.

Yigit Arcan — Istanbul, Türkiye— Guard
Played two seasons at West Valley College (3C2A) … appeared in 49 games and made one start … totaled 141 points, 63 rebounds, 55 assists, 11 steals, and six blocks … shot 45.2 percent from the field, 44 percent from long range, and 71.4 percent at the line … scored a career-high 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds against Gavilan (Feb. 7, 2025) … matched his career-best seven rebounds versus Hartnell (Feb. 19, 2025) … spent one year at Saint Mary's College (NCAA Division I) … attended Orange Lutheran High School … earned Trinity League Second Team honors and was named Defensive Player of the Year … parents were collegiate athletes in Türkiye, with his mother competing in long jump and his father playing basketball.

Played two seasons at West Valley College (3C2A) … appeared in 58 games and made four starts … totaled 190 points, 128 rebounds, 56 assists, and 28 steals … shot 47.8 percent from the field, 42.4 percent from long range, and 62.5 percent at the line … scored a career-high 10 points against San Francisco (Nov. 22, 2024) … grabbed a career-best six rebounds three times, most recently against Skyline (Mar. 8, 2025) … attended Mountain View High School … named League MVP, First Team All-League, and Team MVP in basketball … earned First Team All-League and Team Rookie of the Year honors in football.
