PORTLAND, Ore. – Lewis & Clark College men's tennis dominated Bellevue College 9-0 in an exhibition match at the L&C Tennis Dome to win their third consecutive match.

HOW IT HAPPENED
All three Pioneer duos won 8-1 to take a commanding 3-0 lead over the Bulldogs after doubles play. Senior
Kristian Peev and freshman
Wade McDermott defeated Zaid Khan and Jackson Stumpf at No. 1 doubles. Sophomore
Matt Chio and freshman
Kai Wills took the No. 2 match from Kyle Nget and Jack Nagler. The No. 3 doubles saw senior
Alberto Dos Santos and junior
Miles Stone overwhelm Tyeer Houser and Finn Anderson.
McDermott earned the first win at singles, beating Hunter Austin 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 4 spot. Chio secured the dual win with a commanding 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles.
Peev and Kahn meet again at No. 1 singles, with Peev prevailing 6-1, 6-3.
Dos Santos won the first set at the No. 2 spot 6-2 over Stumpf before falling 3-6 in the second set. Dos Santos dominated the 10-point third-set tiebreak 10-1 to win the match.
Wills took the No. 5 singles match 6-0, 6-1 over Manny Nguyen. Stone completed the team sweep with a 6-1, 6-1 straight-set win over Nagler at No. 6 singles.
BY THE NUMBERS
