NOTABLES

• Earned All-NWC First Team honors for the second consecutive year and All-NWC for the third consecutive year. 
• Was named NWC Student-Athlete of the Week twice for the weeks ending March 13 and April 10.
• Finished his senior year with 21 wins, 10 in singles and 11 in doubles.
• Went 8-8 at the top singles spot, the only player to play that position all year.
• His most dominating win of the year was 6-1, 6-1, over Mike Smolskis of the University of Puget Sound.  
• With doubles partner Wade McDermott pushed the No. 1 doubles team from George Fox University into a tiebreak in the NWC semi-finals.
• Finished the season ranked #15 in the West Region in doubles with McDermott.

2021-22 Awards 

• Northwest Conference First Team All-Conference 

• Earned his second-straight All-Conference honors after being named to the NWC Second Team in 2021 
• Played all of his matches at number one singles and all but one of his matches at number one doubles. 
• Reached the round of 16 in singles at the ITA Northwest Regional Championship and finished 2-1 overall in singles
• Finished NWC play 6-2 in singles action, including winning his final three matches of the regular season 

Prior to the Pios: State Champion (2018-19) ... State - Second Place (2017-18).

Why Lewis & Clark?: It was the best fit socially and academically, and I loved the spirit of the tennis team. I also knew head coach Jimmy Chou for the past six years since I trained with him since middle school.
