PORTLAND, Ore.—Lewis & Clark football dominated in every phase of the game, to cap off a perfect non-conference schedule with an emphatic 79-8 victory on Saturday night.

HOW IT HAPPEEND
In their first home night game in years, the Pioneers racked up over 500 yards, allowed just 149 yards and forced five turnovers and junior kicker
Alex Koga piled up 19 points (10-10 PAT, 3-3 field goals) in their non-conference finale.
The Pioneers raced out to a 35-0 lead by the end of the first quarter, extended their advantage to 56-0 at the half and 70-0 less than five minutes into the third quarter.
Lewis & Clark's four quarterbacks went an efficient 14-16 for 225 yards and six touchdowns. Junior
Cruz Montana got the start and finished 9-11 for 107 yards and four touchdowns.
Trey Morris (3-3, one touchdown),
JT Willis (1-1, one touchdown) and
Clash Orsborn (1-1, three yards, 25 yards rushing) all finished with perfect completion percentages.
On the ground, the Pioneers ran the ball 30 times for 291 yards and three touchdowns. Freshman
Jordan Lahusky led the 11 Pioneers who saw a carry. He posted two rushes for 81 yards, which included a 77-yard rushing touchdown.
Junior
Dyontae Navarrete (five rushes for 66 yards, 1 TD) and freshman
R'Son Baker (four rushes, 59 Yards) joined Lahusky with over 50 yards for the game.
Nine different Pioneers receivers finished with at least one catch. Junior
Devon Guest paced the Pioneers for the third-straight week with three catches for 63 yards and a score. Senior
Sean Bodi (three catches, 33 yards) and junior
Ben Burnham (two catches, 23 yards, 1 TD) were the only other receivers with multiple catches.

Logan Herman and freshman
Marcellas Kenion all recorded interceptions in the victory. Seniors
Isaac Cordova (touchdown) and
Jake Bushman each registered fumble recoveries in the victory.
Senior
Sam Meinhard paced the team with six assisted tackles and a half-tackle for loss. Freshman
Joshua Arcayena had a strong showing to lead the second unit. He posted a team-best four solo tackles, finished with total tackles and added 1.5 tackles-for-loss and a half sack.
BY THE NUMBERS
- The Pioneers offensive was incredibly efficient. Lewis & Clark racked up 516 yards on just 46 plays (11.2 yards per play). They averaged 14.1 yards per pass and 9.7 yards per rush. They did not punt and scored a touchdown on their first 10 drives of the game.
- Nine different players scored touchdowns in the victory: Navarrete (two), Lahusky, Elijah Washington, Guest, Burnham, Garrett Lee, Tomas Veliz and Cordova (defensive).
- Defensively the Pioneers held L-C Valley to just 149 yards (2.1 per play). The Pios defense forced seven fumbles (recovered two) and intercepted three passes.
- Junior punter Huxley Richardson handled the kickoff duties and posted two touchbacks and 721 total yards (51.5 average).
- Three freshman posted their first touchdowns of the season in the victory.
