VANCOUVER, Wash. -- Shane Lynette yielded only two games, and Daniel Lane and Miles Stone earned an 8-0 win in doubles, as the Lewis & Clark Pioneers won their second straight dual with the Willamette Bearcats on Sunday at Club Green Meadows.
In a non-Northwest Conference match-up, the Pioneers won all but the top singles match. Stone followed his doubles win with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Andrew Kropp in No. 5 singles.
Kristian Peev and Riley Vickers won the second doubles match, while Lynette paired with Ramez Attia to win the top contest. Lynette beat Quentin Nigbur in third singles position, 6-0, 6-2.

Key Moments
The Pioneers continued their success in doubles this season as the three pairs who competed on Sunday improved to a combined 14-7 on the year. Attia and Lynette are 5-2 after an 8-3 victory over Andrew Kabacy and Gene Perle-Jones, while Stone and Lane bumped up to 4-2 on the year. The pair beat Jordan Megiveron and Luke Hiserman. In the No. 2 doubles match, Peev and Vickers were 8-2 winners over Kropp and Nigbur to move to 5-3 this season.
Vickers, Lane and Stone have each won five consecutive matches with Vickers going to 3-0 in second position this season after a 6-3, 6-4 win over Perle-Jones. Lane had the lengthiest match in a 6-2, 6-7 (5), 1-0 (10-2) win over Hiserman in the No. 4 singles match. Lane is 3-0 in the fourth spot this year and 5-2 overall.
Stone moved to 5-3 overall and 3-1 in fifth position on the season after his win against Kropp.
