Key Moments
Vickers and Lynette are the first Pios to reach three singles victories this year. Vickers took down Kincaid Nooris, 6-3, 6-3, in the third singles spot, while Lynette beat Jonathan Hutley, 4-6, 6-1, 7-5, in fourth position. Both have won two matches in a row.
"The team energy has been something we've been working on, and today you could clearly see that for the most part it helped," Pios assistant coach Phalkun Mam said. "Just being loud and cheering each other on can definitely help to keep themselves and their teammates focused and in the match."
Attia won the top singles match against Ethan Violette and improved to 2-2 this year. He won the first set convincingly, said Mam, and then fought back from a 4-3 deficit to win the second and close out the match.
Peev and Vickers had the widest margin in doubles. The duo won 8-1 at No. 2 against Cameron Brewer and Hutley.
