VANCOUVER, Wash. -- The bottom four singles matches and No. 2 and 3 doubles were winners for the Lewis & Clark Pioneers in a 6-3 defeat of the Pacific Boxers on Saturday at Club Green Meadows.
Maca Vives and Arielle Bloom were part of two winners in the match. Vives paired with Rachael Rice for an 8-1 win in the second doubles spot while winning No. 3 singles. Bloom took her singles match in sixth position and teamed with Madelyn Landerfelt for a No. 3 doubles win.

Key Moments
Natalie Kowal won a highly-contested match at No. 4 singles over Kailei Eustis, 7-5, 7-6 (5). Kowal improved to 2-0 on the season, as did Bloom with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Gillian Mead in six position. Fellow first-year Kate Stratton won 7-6 (7-4), 6-3 over Cara Tamaye at No. 5.
Vives was the highest singles winner with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Jessica Eligio in the third spot. Both Stratton and Vives are 2-0 on the season as well.
