Box Score PORTLAND, Ore. -- The Lewis & Clark Pioneers took home their second win of the season against the Portland Bible Wildcats Wednesday night at Pamplin Sports Center with an 84-69 victory. The Pios broke a three-game losing streak with 13 players of the 15 member roster scoring points on the night. They traded the lead only once in the first half before walking away from the Wildcats through the rest of the game.
The Pioneers took 34 points off of turnovers, with Matt Brown making four of the team's 12 steals and Brian Smith and Zeke Crawford combining for five. Christian Pitcher, Smith and Brown all tied with 16 points in the Pios' highest-scoring game of the season so far, while Crawford led with nine rebounds. Smith and Brown also had four assists each.

Key Moments
Although Portland Bible (0-4) was the first to put points on the scoreboard, the Pioneers (2-4) quickly gained the advantage in what would be one of their best first periods of the season.
A 3-pointer from Ryan Cibull got the Pios on the board at 18:05 and into the lead by one, before Aaron Deatherage hit a layup that flipped the game back in favor of the Wildcats. Pitcher brought fireworks with a dunk a minute later that would return the Pios' to the lead they would maintain for the rest of the game.
The Pios' defensive pressure through the half forced 14 turnovers from the Wildcats. Brown and Smith combined for five steals while Crawford, Nick Lombardi and Andrew Panicacci contributed the other three. The Pios were able to convert 24 points off of turnovers while shooting 58.8 percent from the floor, sending them into halftime with a 20-point lead.
Pitcher and Brown both hit double digits in points before halftime, with Pitcher making 2-3 3-pointers and 4-5 field goals. He ended the game shooting 63.3 percent from the floor. Brown hit 5-5 field goals and 2-2 free throws in the first half, ending the game shooting 66.7 percent from the floor with a perfect 4-4 from the free throw line.
