TUALATIN, Ore. - The #29 Lewis & Clark women's tennis team picked up its second 9-0 win over the George Fox Bruins on Saturday afternoon in Northwest Conference action.
Kcey Incerpi and Christine Eliazo picked up an 8-5 win over Sarah Tuemmier and Chantelle Hadeed in the No. 1 doubles spot. Summer Garrison and Claudia Lew made quick work of Andrea Motley and Ali Diehl in the No. 2 spot, winning 8-2. Now riding a seven match winning streak, Wiktoria Plawska and Aurora Garrison also cruised past their opponents, taking their match 8-1.
The Pioneers shook things up a bit in singles action with Aurora Garrison taking over in the No. 1 spot. Garrison defeated Tuemmler 6-3, 6-1 for her first win of the season as the teams No. 1.
Plawska, who competed in the No. 2 spot, picked up her sixth straight win over a conference foe, taking down Hadeed 6-2, 6-0. Lew moved to 4-0 on the season in the No. 3 spot with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Taylor Barnes.
Competing as the No. 4 for the first time this season, Eliazo defeated Catrina Kwong 6-0, 6-2. Natalie Kelly earned her first win as the Pios No.5 with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Motley. Gillian Lowe kept her winning streak alive as the teams No. 6 with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Krista Rey.
The team returns to the court on Saturday, April 18 at Linfield. The match is set to begin at 11 a.m.
