LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The #31 Lewis & Clark women's tennis team picked up its 12th straight victory on Saturday afternoon with an 8-1 win over Occidental to end the Pioneers spring break tour of California. 

The Pioneers double teams of Summer Garrison and Claudia Lew and Aurora Garrison and Gillian Lowe each made quick work of their opponents in the No. 2 and No. 3 positions. Lew and S. Garrison took down Lucy Malloch and Lauren Hutkin 8-0, while Lowe and A. Garrison won 8-2. 

The Pioneers top team of Christine Eliazo and Kacey Incerpi had a fight on their hands in the top spot. The Pioneer pair managed to pull out a 9-7 victory over Keilani Bonis-Ericks and Smantha Farrell. 

S. Garrison met up with Farrell in No. 1 singles, taking down the Occidental ace 6-2, 7-5. Lew picked up one of the easiest wins of the day as Sara Charney was forced to retire in the No. 3 spot. Both Incerpti (No. 4) and Glenna Gee-Taylor (No. 5) defeated their foes 6-0, 6-0. Natalie Kelly rounded out the Pioneer points with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Isabella Korfmann in the No. 6 position.

The Pioneers return to the court on Saturday, April 4 at home against Whitworth. The match is set to begin at 11 a.m.
