WALLA WALLA. Wash. - Kurt Parker was 6-for-6 from the free-throw line on Friday night en route to a game-high 15 points in the Lewis & Clark men's basketball teams Northwest Conference game against Whitman. The Missionaries managed to pull out a 76-59 win over the visiting Pioneers.
Lewis & Clark falls to 12-4 on the season and 5-2 in conference play. Whitman improves to 11-6 and 6-2 in NWC action.
Parker also pulled down seven rebounds on the night, just one shy of a game-high. Randall Jackson was the only other Pioneer to score in double figures, knocking down 10 points. Sophomore Jason Luhnow collected a game-high eight rebounds for the Pioneers, while Bradley Carter and Parker each earned seven.
Matt Mounier led the Missionaries with 15 points and eight rebounds, while four other players scored in double figures for Whitman.
The Pioneers take on the Whitworth Pirates on Saturday, Jan. 25 at 8 p.m. in Spokane, Wash.
