PORTLAND, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark men's basketball team won its fourth consecutive game on Friday night with a 63-55 victory over the Pacific Boxers in Northwest Conference action.
The Pioneers improve to 11-3 on the season and 4-1 in NWC action, while the Boxers fall to 9-5 (2-3 NWC).
Connor Freeberg scored a team-high 18 points for the Pioneers, finishing 8-of-15 from the floor. Senior Quentin Sims was the only other Pioneers in double-digits wtih 12 points, hitting eight of his 12 from the free-throw line. Bradley Carter pulled down a game-high nine rebounds for Lewis & Clark, while Jason Luhnow collected eight and Sims grabbed seven.
Daniel Zitani led all players with 20 points for the Boxers, while teammate Jordan Batey knocked down 10 off the bench.
The Pios return to the court at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 18 when they host Willamette.
