PORTLAND, Ore.—Lewis & Clark College golf coach Brad Brier announced the team's six-player class on Thursday morning. The Pioneers added two women's golfers and four men's golfers ahead of the 2025 season. 

This year's class is made up of two student-athletes from Texas and one each from California, Washington, Oregon and British Columbia. Both teams will kick off their seasons on Monday and Tuesday, when they travel to compete at the California State Intercollegiate Tournament in Thousand Oaks, California. 
 
Women's Class
 
Darwyn Kormany – Kelowna, Canada 
 
Attended Kelowna Secondary High School in British Columbia ... Played golf and field hockey in high school ... Finished third overall at the 2025 British Columbia School Sports Provincial Championship ... Qualified for 2024 Maple Leaf Junior Golf (MLJ) National Tour ... Led Kelowna Secondary to a second place finish at the British Columbia School Sports Field Hockey Provincial Championship ... Helped her club team finish in second place twice at the Field Hockey British Columbia (FHBC) Club Championships ... Earned the 2nd Place Zone 2 Order of Merit in 2025.

Kimber Yoder – Plano Texas 
 
Attended Plano Senior High School ... Played varsity golf for all four years and closed out her career with a scoring average of 79 ... Earned Academic All-State honors ... Member of the National Honor Society.

Men's Class 
 
Trae Frederickson – Pullman, Wash. 
 
Attended Pullman High School ... Led his golf team to the 2025 Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) 2A Men's Golf State Championship ... Finished the tournament tied for seventh with a two-day score of 155 ... Named a First Team All-League honoree four times ... Earned the 2025 High School District MVP award ... Finished as the 2024 US Kids Summer Tour Points Leader.

Brady Gless – Riverside, Calif. 
 
Attended Riverside Poly ... Earned All-League honors four times ... Qualified for the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Sectional Tournament three times ... Posted two wins and six runner-up finishes on the Southern California PGA Jr. (SCPGA) Tour ... Named a Scholar-Athlete for golf four times ... Helped his team finish sixth out of 586 teams in the Team California Southern Section Rankings.

Talon Kenfield – Rockport, Texas 
 
Attended Rockport Fulton High School ... Named to the First Team All-District Team ... Earned First Team Academic All-District honors on two occasions ... Qualified for Regionals three times ... Earned six wins on the 6 Wins on the Southern Texas Junior PGA Tour (STJRPGA Tour) ... His father ran track at Lane Community College in Oregon and ran track and played football at Western Colorado (NCAA DII).

Nate Loew – Portland, Ore. 
 
Attended Grant High School ... Played three years of high school baseball before joining the golf team ahead of his senior season ... Shot a 73 at the 2025 Portland Interscholastic League (PIL) Finals ... Carded a 77 at the US Juniors Amateur Championship Qualifier ... Finished his senior year with a 75.5 scoring average ... His father Jeremy played baseball at Lewis & Clark and his mother Holly played volleyball at Lewis & Clark.
