PORTLAND, Ore.—Both Lewis & Clark College tennis teams and 11 players earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) NCAA DIII Academic Awards, the ITA announced on Wednesday morning.Â

Women's tennis was named an All-Academic Team honoree for the sixth-straight year, while men's tennis was recognized for the eighth time in nine years. To earn All-Academic Team honors, teams have to post a minimum team GPA of 3.2 or higher for the academic year. Women's tennis finished the year with a 3.48 GPA and men's tennis posted a 3.31 GPA.Â

Six women's tennis players and five men's players garnered ITA Scholar-Athlete status. Student-athletes must post a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the academic year to qualify.Â
