Lauryn Frederickson earned her first career Northwest Conference All-Conference honors, the league office announced on Wednesday afternoon.Ā
Frederickson put together a fantastic sophomore campaign to earn NWC Second Team All-Conference accolades. The sophomore is the first Pioneer to earn a spot on one of the NWC All-Conference top two teams, since assistant coach Delsie Johnson was named to the All-Conference First Team after the 2021-22 season.Ā

Frederickson led an extremely young Lewis & Clark team to six wins this winter, including conference wins over NWC Tournament Teams University of Puget Sound and Linfield University. She led the team with her 14.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and 18 blocks. The sophomore from Maple Valley, Washington started all 25 games and finished second on the team with 30.7 minutes per game. She knocked down a team-high 139 field goals (38.8 percent) and also led the team by going 78-104 (75.0 percent) from the free throw line. Frederickson tacked on 17 made 3-pointers (29.8 percent), 34 assists and 29 blocks.Ā

In conference play, Frederickson was even better on the offensive end: recording 15.9 points per game and shooting 77.1 percent from the charity stripe.Ā

She ended the season third in the NWC in points per game, second in rebounds per game, seventh in offensive rebounds per game (2.0), eighth in free throw percentage and minutes per game and ninth in blocks per game (0.7). Frederickson was the only player in the league to rank in the top-10 of the conference in points, rebounds and minutes per game. She finished the year 81
stĀ in NCAA DIII with her 6.4 defensive rebounds per game.

Frederickson posted double-digit points in 20 of the team's 25 contests, including 10 in a row from December 6 to January 25. She finished with 20 or more points six times. She added double-digit rebounds in eight games. After posting two double-doubles as a first year, Frederickson racked up seven double-doubles, including four in a five-game span at one point.

The sophomore recorded a career-high 29 points on 11-20 shooting, including 5-6 of distance, on November 23 against Warner Pacific University. She added a monster double-double of 27 points a season-high 16 rebounds in the Pioneers' Northwest Conference opener at Willamette University. She was at her best in the team's conference win over Linfield, when she finished with 23 points, on 9-12 shooting,vand eight rebounds in an 80-74 win over the Wildcats.Ā

Through two seasons, Frederickson has racked up 543 points (11.1 per game) and 419 rebounds (8.6 per game). She has played in 49 of 50 possible games and started 48 of them ā while averaging 31.3 minutes per contest. She is on pace to become the 14
thĀ player in program history to record 1,000 or more career points and just the third player to finish with 800 or more rebounds.Ā
