PORTLAND, Ore.—After a soggy Saturday, the threat of continued heavy rain in the Portland area impacted multiple Lewis & Clark athletic events on Sunday. 
 
Baseball cancelled their home game against #16/18 University of La Verne. The contest will not be made up. Lewis & Clark travels to Pacific Lutheran University on Saturday and Sunday next week to open up Northwest Conference play. 
 
Men's and Women's Golf also were forced to cancel Day Two of the Langdon Tri-Meet. The final day of the tournament will not be made up and the results from Day One will go down as the final results. Both Pioneers teams finished just behind NAIA Corban University for second place. The golf teams will resume play on March 8-9 at the Pacific University Invitational. 
 
Men's Tennis was forced to delay their start time against conference foe George Fox University. The two teams were supposed to begin play at 11 a.m. in Newberg but due to the humidity in the George Fox dome the match will now commence at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
