TACOMA, Wash.—Seniors Michael Spicer and Ezra Billings each posted two wins apiece to lead Lewis & Clark College men's swimming against host Pacific Lutheran University on Saturday morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The River Otters posted a season-high in event wins (six) and points (103) in their final dual meet of 2025. Senior Zach Martin and junior Sam LoCurto added wins for Lewis & Clark against the Lutes. 

Spicer kicked off the day with a win in the 1,000 Free. The senior swam the event solo and posted a time of 11:01.58. He defeated four other swimmers in the 200 Fly. Spicer finished nearly four seconds ahead of the second-place finisher in the event with a time of 2:03.49. 

Billings posted his two event wins in the 50 Free and 50 Fly. He notched a time of 21.91 in the 50 Free to win by over a second. The senior added a win in the 50 Fly by 0.64 seconds. Billings touched the wall in 23.63. 

Martin won the 100 Freestyle with a time of in 48.86. His time was 2.31 seconds faster than the second-place finisher in the event. 

LoCurto tacked on his first win of the season in the 200 Free. The sophomore turned in a time of 1:51.72. He finished 1.59 seconds ahead of PLU's Hoskoo Amgalan. 

The River Otters added four second-place finishes. Martin took second in both the 50 Breaststroke (29.25) and 200 Breaststroke (2:27.09). First year Reid McAllister posted the best result of his collegiate career in the 500 Free (5:36.61). He placed second out of three swimmers in the event and finished just 0.55 seconds behind Puget Sound's Aidan Koshinsky. 

Lewis & Clark's 400 Yard Medley Relay team notched the final second-place result. The quartet of Billings, Martin, Spicer and LoCurto notched a time of 3:46.56.

Lewis & Clark will travel to California for the University of La Verne's Winter Collegiate Swim Invite. The meet will take place from November 21-23.
