TACOMA, Wash.—Senior 
Malia Heien earned All-Conference honors for a fourth-consecutive season, to lead Lewis & Clark College women's cross country at the 2025 Northwest Conference Championship Meet on Saturday morning. 
 
THE BASICS 
 
Women's Cross Country – 6
th out of 9 Teams – 150 Points
 
HOW IT HAPPENED 
 
Heien finished 10
th overall to earn NWC Second Team All-Conference honors. The senior crossed the finish line in 23:12.64. 
 
Junior 
Skylar Willow placed second on the team and 34
th overall. The Eugene native posted a time of 24:58.26. 
 
Senior 
Miriam Reside was the next Pioneer to finish. Reside registered a mark of 25:29.74 to place 41
stoverall. 
 
Junior 
Nadia Cota and sophomore 
Talia Tomhave were the final two scorers for Lewis & Clark. Cota placed 45
th overall with a time of 25:39.90. Tomhave came in just behind her with a mark of 25:45.97 to place 46
th. 
 
Sophomore 
Maeva Conroy placed sixth on the Pioneers. Conroy took 57
th place with a mark of 26:12.08. 
 
Senior 
Emogene Lutz registered a time of 26:24.92 to finish in 59
th place. 
 
First year 
Tesla Curtis crossed the finish line eighth for Lewis & Clark. She posted a time of 26:55.70 to take 68
th place.
 
Senior 
Ali Kerschner and junior 
Melissa Zurla finished back-to-back. Kerschner notched a time of 27:16.03 to place 71
st overall. Zurla finished in 72
nd place with a time of 27:51.48. 
 
BY THE NUMBERS 
	- Heien finished in the top-12 in the Northwest Conference for a fourth-straight year. She placed 12th as a first year and then finished in fourth place in both 2023 and 2024. 
 
	- Willow, Cota, Conroy, Curtis and Zurla all posted their best-career finishes at an NWC Championship Meet. 
 
	- George Fox University won their fifth-straight team title. The Bruins finished with 41 total points. 
 
	- Bruins graduate student Emily Foote won the individual team title with a final time of 22:02.67.

Lewis & Clark will travel to California for the NCAA DIII West Regional Championship Meet on Saturday, November 15.
