SALEM, Ore.—Seven Lewis & Clark College women's cross country runners posted career-best 6K times on Saturday morning at the Linfield George Oja Invitational.

Senior
Miriam Reside ran the 46
th-fastest time in program history, to lead Lewis & Clark at the Oak Knoll Golf Course.
Reside paced Lewis & Clark for the second time in the past three meets. Reside broke her PR over 6K by nearly 45 seconds, when she placed 148
th overall. She crossed the finish line in 23:53.9.
Junior
Skylar Willow placed second on the team after registering a season-best mark. Willow finished in 24:04.70 to place 161
st.
Sophomore
Talia Tomhave came in just behind Willow. Tomhave recorded a season-best mark of 24:10.80 to come in 168
th place.
Sophomore
Maeva Conroy finished as Lewis & Clark's fourth scorer. Conroy notched a PR time of 24:37.50 to place 204
th.
Junior
Nadia Cota ended the race in fifth on the team. She crossed the line in 24:52.80, a new collegiate PR, to come across in 222
nd place.
Senior
Emogene Lutz was the next Lewis & Clark runner to finish. Lutz posted a season-best mark of 25:17.40 to place 239
th.
Junior
Melissa Zurla and senior
Ali Kerschner finished in quick succession. Zurla compiled a PR time of 25:30.40 to place 249
th. Kerschner was just behind her, as the senior registered a PR time of 25:36.50 to come in 255
th.
First year
Tesla Curtis placed ninth on Lewis & Clark. The first year finished 274
th with a PR mark of 25:59.70.
First year
Katherine Scannell and junior
Carolyn Mayberry were the final two Lewis & Clark runners to cross the line. Scannell recorded a PR time of 28:40.60 to take 323
rd place. Mayberry placed 329
th with a mark of 28:59.20.
BY THE NUMBERS
- All seven Lewis & Clark runners who posted PR times - improved their PRs by over 40 seconds: Curtis (130.2), Scannell (120.5), Zurla (107), Conroy (92.5), Cota (53.6), Kerschner (45.6), Reside (43.4).
- Boise State University (NCAA DI) placed first overall with a score of 25 points to edge out the University of Portland (NCAA DI) who posted 33 points.
- Reside is now the fourth active Lewis & Clark runner to own a top-50 time in program history. Heien (seventh), Willow (28th) and Lutz (49th) also rank in the top-50.
- The Evergreen State College's Alauna Carstens finished first overall with a time of 20:15.20.
WHAT'S NEXT
Lewis & Clark will travel to Tacoma on Saturday, November 1 for the 2025 Northwest Conference Championship Meet. The women's race will start at 11:00 a.m.
