Eleven Pioneers scored and Lewis & Clark turned 25 Arrows turnovers into a 44-0 advantage on points off turnovers, to cruise in their second meeting of the year with Portland Bible.Â

Senior
Mikey Medlock Jr. led five Pioneers in double-figures with a game-high 18 points. Medlock Jr. went 6-9 from the field and hit four of his six 3-point attempts to score 18 points in just 14 minutes of action.Â

Kody Uyesugi (13 points),
Andre Treadwell (12),
Sam Henderson (10) and
Justin White (10) all joined Medlock Jr. in double-figures. White finished with seven rebounds, five assists and five steals in the best game of his first season as a Pioneer. Treadwell tacked on seven rebounds and three assists.Â

Sebastian DePrez each posted nine points apiece, while senior
Nik Berry chipped in eight points.Â

Marcus Bast was Lewis & Clark's leading playmaker in the contest. The first year posted eight of the Pioneers 25 assists and tacked on five points in 23 minutes of play.Â

Lewis & Clark dominated nearly every statistical category. The Pioneers posted huge edges in bench points (81-7), second-chance points (20-0), points in the paint (56-14) and second-chance points (23-0) against the undersized Arrows.Â

Portland Bible jumped out to a 7-2 lead just over three minutes into the game but that would be the last time the visitors would lead.Â

First year
Donovan Beard hit a layup to make it 7-4 and Rodriguez knocked down three-straight free throws to tie the game 7-7 with 15:20 left in the half. Beard added a layup off a Bast steal to make it 9-7 and Lewis & Clark would add six more points to cap off a 13-0 run.Â

Jonny Kubala momentarily stemmed the momentum with a layup for Portland Bible to make it 15-9 (13:24 left in the half) but Lewis & Clark would just go another extended run.Â

The Pioneers would score the next 25 points unanswered to push their lead to 40-9 with 7:05 left in the half. Medlock Jr. scored the first seven points of the run and Uysegui (two), Treadwell and
Taien Jackson all hit 3-pointers during the flurry.Â

Lewis & Clark would push their advantage to 57-18 at halftime and they led by as many as 71 late in the second half.Â

BY THE NUMBERS
- Jackson (seven points) and Beard (six) were the final two Pioneers to score in the contest.Â
- The Pioneers 70-point win was their largest margin of victory since they defeated Portland Bible 121-47 on November 19, 2022. It was Lewis & Clark's first 100-point game since Lewis & Clark scored 110 against Douglas College on December 31 of 2022.Â
- Senior Khalil Glover-Dodson was all over the court defensively. He finished with four steals, three assists and two rebounds. Senior Nate Berg added four rebounds.Â
- The Pioneers shot 57.7 percent (41-71) from the field, 43.3 percent (13-30) from deep and 80 percent (12-15) from the free throw line.Â
- Lewis & Clark finished the game with 25 assists to just four turnovers. Lewis & Clark has now posted single-digit turnovers in each of their four games this season. The Pioneers are averaging 6.75 turnovers per contest.Â
- Bast finished a team-best +53 in 22:28 of action. Treadwell (+51) was the only player who finished over +50 or better.Â
- The Pioneers defeated Portland Bible 99-45 in their season opener at Portland Bible.

Lewis & Clark will travel across Portland to take on Warner Pacific University on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Pioneers earned a 78-77 win over the Knights at home last season.Â
