Dicovski scored 3:13 into the contest to tie the game at 1-1 but the hosts retook the lead 70 seconds later and scored four more goals before the 40-minute mark.Ā

Dicovski made it three goals in two games, when he intercepted a back pass from a Pirates defender and calmly sent a low shot into the bottom right-corner for an unassisted tally.Ā

Eric Shaporda scored each of the first three goals for the hosts. He capped off his hat trick at 14:02.Ā

Cole Friesen (two goals) and Clayton Crockett also scored for Whitworth who posted their fifth-straight victory.Ā

Ben Tallent and
Declan Cloutier combined for six saves. Tallent played the first half and made four saves. Cloutier came on for the final 45 minutes and stopped by shots he faced.

- Whitworth finished the game with a 20-3 shot advantage and 13-2 edge on shots on goal.Ā
- With his third goal in two games, Dicovski moved into first place since the program was elevated back to varsity status with three career goals.Ā
- Freshman Simon McGlothern and Zidane Indarta each made their return to the field after missing several games. McGlothern started in the midfield and played 77 minutes after missing five games and Indarta played 67 minutes after missing six-straight.Ā

Lewis & Clark will travel to take on Whitman on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. It will be the first matchup between the two programs since October 12, 1991.
