HOW IT HAPPENED
All 12 players who appeared this weekend earned at least one victory as part of the opening weekend to the 2022-23 season for women's tennis.
"Day two of our mixer tournament saw much improved play and results from the Pios," head coach
Jimmy Chau said. "The Pios fared much better in doubles today as we took five out of the six doubles matches contested. The women played closer to their potential today, but there's still so much work to be done. We came out with much better positive energy today and started to put things together. This is going to be a group that works hard for their goals and I'm excited to see that come to fruition."
