PORTLAND, Ore.—Lewis & Clark College finished their second day of conference play with a 9-0 sweep of Pacific Lutheran University Lutes at L&C Tennis Dome on Sunday afternoon.
This is the Pioneers sixth straight home win and first sweep of the season.

Key Moments
Lewis & Clark started off the afternoon strong winning all three of the doubles matches to race out to a 3-0 lead going into singles competition.
Maca Vives and Eadie Poulsen kept a considerable lead throughout their doubles match against the Lutes first doubles pair and earned an 8-3 victory.
Caren Uribe and Hayley Kreps went up 5-0 early at third doubles and finished with an 8-2 win over Lutes Lilian Nguyen and Jillian Chong.
At number two doubles, Rachael Rice and Kacie Lau cruised to an 8-0 win over Tianna Jeffries and Meggie Burnett.
In singles, Uribe lost just one game in the first set and shut out Lutes Jillian Chong 6-0 in the second set at number two singles.
Rice defeated Taylor Stokes, the Lutes number one, only losing two games in the first set. Rice matched Uribe in the second set and shut out Stokes to finish the afternoon 2-0 (6-2, 6-0).
Vives earned the match-clinching win at third singles. She defeated Ella Burriss 6-2, 6-1.
