Box Score WALLA WALLA, Wash. -- The Lewis & Clark Pioneers four-game winning streak ended on Friday after an 85-81 loss at the Whitman Blues.
There were 14 lead changes and six ties over the course of the game, but Whitman led for nearly 32 minutes. Lewis & Clark took its last lead with 2:18 remaining.
Brenden Patrick was tied for the game lead with 27 points, and Jayden Simpson added 15 more for the Pios.

Key Moments
The first half was played within a single-digit lead. The Pioneers closed the gap to eight with 3:35 remaining on a 3-pointer by Ryan Cibull, his only deep ball out of nine points, seven rebounds and six assists in the game. Whitman pushed the lead back up to 12 at halftime.
Patrick scored 13 of his 27 in the first half and went 5 for 11 from the field. Three different Blues hit the 10-point mark in the half.
An and-one score by Sebastian DePrez brought the Pios to within 51-48 with 13:25 left in the game. Lewis & Clark (10-13, 4-11 NWC) tied the game on free throws by Simpson and Sam Henderson with 8:30 to go, and then eventually a four-point lead with 5:26 remaining on Tyler McFarland's 3-pointer. Walter Lum's 3-pointer with 1:08 to go gave the Blues a four-point edge, enough to hold on for a win.
