Game 1 | Key Moments

Caltech scored first in the opener, a Leo Jenkins ground-out RBI, but the Pios responded with two runs in the top of the second. After back-to-back hit batters to start the game, Riley Guieb attempted a sacrifice bunt and reached on a throwing error, which allowed Zack Kon to score. Jack Savant grounded out to bring in another.

The game opened up in the third when the Pios put five across. Justin Cavagnaro, Guieb, Moore and Serafini brought in runs, with Moore's single totaling two RBI.

Lewis & Clark held Caltech without a run in the third, fourth and fifth innings. The Beavers stranded three runners in two of the three. Shimabukuro went four innings, allowed five hits, two earned runs and two walks. Tal Jones went 1-1/3 innings and struck out two, while Casey Parsons finished the game over 2-2/3 runless innings and three strikeouts.

Game 2 | Key Moments

The Pioneers scored in all but the fifth and eighth innings. Luke Bass and Jakob Ghammachi hit back-to-back homers in the third, part of Ghammachi's 3 for 5 performance in Saturday's finale.

In the fourth, Lewis & Clark scored five. Serafini hit a two-RBI double, and Ghammachi joined Mason Lee with RBI singles. The Pios also scored on Bass' ground out. In the seventh, Heron and Guieb hit a two-RBI single and double, respectively. Savant added a two-RBI double as well before Parsons and Heron singled in runs as the order was rounded.

Ferruggia pitched five innings and allowed eight hits, three earned runs and a strikeout before Kris Wuelfing threw the final two without allowing a run with a pair of strikeouts.
