Salem, Ore. – The Pioneer men's basketball team scored over 100 points against host Willamette University for the first time in over 54 years in their 105-85 Northwest Conference win. The only confirmed times Lewis & Clark has scored over the century mark against Willamette were 1964 and 1968.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Nikko Echalas and sophomores
Khalil Glover-Dodson and
Ryan Trunkett scored career-highs against Willamette on Friday night. Echalas scored 17 points on 7-11 shooting, Glover-Dodson added 18 points on 8-11 from the floor, and Trunkett contributed 11 points, hitting four of his six attempts.
The Pioneers jumped to a 10-0 lead in the first 2:14, and they never looked back. The closest the Bearcats would get in the first half was 34-29 with just over six minutes to go. Senior
Brenden Patrick led the charge before halftime scoring 17 of his game-high 30 points.
Patrick drew first blood out of the break, and the lead continued to grow. Glover-Dodson hit an and-one just under the 11-minute mark to give the Pios their largest lead at 85-58.

Jack Henderson and freshman
Matt Hoffman were the final players to hit double-digit scoring. Henderson had 12 points, and Hoffman added ten, including going 2-2 from beyond the arc.
