Box Score 2 SALEM, Ore. -- Four runs in the late innings were enough to bring the Lewis & Clark Pioneers back to force extras, but not enough for a win on Saturday against the Willamette Bearcats.
In the finale, the Pios lost 9-8 after putting up three in the seventh on Sammy Benbow's three-run homer, and one in the eighth on Justin Bailey's RBI single. In a 10-5 loss to begin the day, Tyler Gannon and Bailey had doubles.
As he did in the finale of the last series, Dylan Moore homered in both games for a season total of three.
