VANCOUVER, Wash. -- The Lewis & Clark Pioneers took all but one doubles match in an 8-1 defeat of the Linfield Wildcats on Saturday at Club Green Meadows. The win is the Pios' fifth in their last six matches.
Daniel Lane gave up just two games in a No. 5 singles victory, while both the top doubles teams won 8-2. Ramez Attia won his fourth straight singles match with a 6-2, 6-3 victory at No. 1. Riley Vickers and Kristian Peev have won six doubles matches in a row.

Key Moments
The Pioneers took two of the three doubles matches, both by 8-2 margins. Shane Lynette and Attia won the top pairing over Cameron Ventura and Michael Manion to improve to 6-3 on the year. Peev and Vickers are 7-3 after their No. 2 doubles victory over Will Worth and Ethan Myers.
Lane paired with Miles Stone in an 8-1 loss at No. 3 doubles to Gilbert Fuentes and Josef Shum. Lane bounced back to win 6-0, 6-2 over Shum in No. 5 singles.
"Daniel regained focus after their No. 3 doubles loss," Pios assistant coach Phalkun Mam said. "He played patient and smart tennis to win at the No. 5 spot." Lane is 6-3 this season.
Vickers took down Ventura in third position, 6-2, 6-3, and improved to 7-3 on the season. Attia is 5-2 after a 6-3, 6-2 win over Fuentes.
