Key Moments
Up against Pacific's seasoned singles lineup, the Pioneers showed some positive moments on Saturday. Attia competed in No. 1 position and fell to Quentin Gonzalez, who paired with Sean Murphy in No. 1 doubles and won over Attia and Lynette.
Lynette took some games from Rayden Murata in the No. 4 singles match-up. Miles Stone and Lane fell 8-3 in No. 3 doubles against Koby Murata and Rayden Murata.
"Pacific is a tough team," Pioneers head coach Jimmy Chau said. "We've been focusing on doubles lately in practice, and I feel like we're seeing some good progress on that end.
"We're still trying to figure it out with a lot of different possible lineups still to be played with. I do like what I am seeing out of our young guys, but we have a long way to go to get to where they want to be."
