BEAVERTON, Ore. -- The No.33 Lewis & Clark Pioneers defeated the George Fox Bruins on Sunday afternoon, 7-2, to improve their conference record to 5-1 and overall record to 9-3. The win marked their fourth in a row.

The Pioneers won all three doubles match-ups starting with Gordon Barrows and Brenden Barrows in first position. The Barrowses defeated Spencer Watanabe and William Leach, 8-6, and now have a doubles record of 6-3.

Pim Trouerbach and Jackson Powell were in match No. 2 and defeated Alex Namba and Payton Namba, 8-6. The duo is currently undefeated when playing as partners. For the third match, Raed Attia and Kei Inoue defeated Justin Barton and Jonah Wafula, 8-4, and have only lost one match when paired together for a record of 7-1.

In the singles lineup, Powell was in first position and defeated 17th-ranked Watanabe, 6-2, 6-2, and now has a singles record of 6-1. In the second match, Raed Attia lost to Leach, 6-3, 6-4. Gordon Barrows was in the No. 3 spot and won against A. Namba, 6-1, 6-0, and increased his record to 6-2.

Brenden Barrows lost to P. Namba, 6-4, 7-6. Inoue defeated Baker Keaton after a tiebreaker set, 1-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-7). Ramez Attia made another appearance in the lineup and defeated Wafula, 6-2, 6-1.

Lewis & Clark will go to California for two matches after spring break. They play Gustavus Adolphus on Apr. 6 and Pomona-Pitzer on Apr. 7.
