WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Despite their best effort, the Lewis & Clark men's tennis team could not overcome the Whitman Missionaries in the Northwest Conference Semifinal. The Missionaries earned a 5-0 win.

In doubles action, the Pioneers No. 1 (Pim Trouerbach/Gordon Barrows) and No. 2 (Michael Brewer/Kevin Ross) teams fell 8-2. The No. 3 team fell 8-0. 

Jake Hoeger put the Missionaries ahead 4-0, after taking down Barrows in the No. 6 spot, 6-2, 6-0. Colton Malesovas ended the entire thing with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Brewer in the No. 1 spot.
