RESULTS

TACOMA, Wash. - The Lewis & Clark men's tennis team blew past the Puget Sound Loggers on Saturday afternoon in Northwest Conference, picking up a dominating 9-0 victory. 

Kevin Ross and Michael Brewer teamed up to blank John Stevens and Jake Peterson 8-0 in No. 1 doubles, before moving on to both win their singles matches. Brewer represented the Pios in No. 1 singles, where he took down Daniel Deuel 6-4, 6-1. Ross competed as the No. 2, blowing past Chas Stewart 6-1, 6-0. 

Scott Monismith paired up with Cameron Smith as the Pioneers No. 2 doubles team, defeating Myles Rivera-Flam and Stewart 8-3. Morgan Joyce played in place of Smith in singles, representing the Pioneers as the No. 3, where he defeated Rivera-Flam 6-1, 1-6, 1-0 (10-7). Monismith had no problem with Abe Noyes in the No. 4 spot, earning an easy 6-0, 6-3 victory. 

Carter Gee-Taylor and Parker Nichols rounded out the doubles pairs for Lewis & Clark. The duo defeated Deuel and Colton Wright 8-2. Nichols faced off against Stevens in the No. 5 spot, where he picked up a 6-4, 6-3 win. Gee-Taylor rounded out the singles players, where he blanked his foe 6-0, 6-0. 

Lewis & Clark returns to action on Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m. at Pacific Lutheran to close out the season.
