Men's Tennis Takes Down Pacific 5-4

RESULTS

FOREST GROVE, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark men's tennis team picked up its second win of the season over Pacific on Friday afternoon, defeating the Boxers 5-4 on the road.

The Boxers had the advantage in singles play, winning four out of the six points, but the Pioneers were perfect during doubles action.

Kevin Ross and Daniel Hahm defeated Troy Zuroke and Giancarlo Battaglia at No. 1 doubles 8-3. Carter Gee-Taylor and Scott Monismith earned a victory at the No. 2 spot by the same score. At No. 3 doubles, the duo of Ryotaro Tokura and Lucas Fodor battled their way to a 9-7 win over their foes.

Hahm earned his third straight singles win from the No. 3 spot, taking down Brandon Schlack 6-0, 6-1. Monismith collected the Pios only other singles win, taking down Alen Sukje 6-4, 6-4 at the No. 4 spot.
