Men's Tennis Falls at Willamette 6-3

RESULTS

SALEM, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark men's tennis team hit the road on Saturday, falling to the Willamette Bearcats 6-3 in Northwest Conference action.  

The Pioneers picked up their three points from singles action, with Daniel Hahm (No. 3), Scott Monismith (No. 4) and Ryotaro Tokura (No. 5) all earning victories.

Hahm earned a quick 6-2 win in his opening set before battling to a 7-5 win in the second. Monismith fought Devin Abney the entire match, earning a 7-6 (10-8) win in the first set before falling 7-6 (11-9) in the second. In the tiebreaker Monismith took the point with a 1-0 (10-5) victory.  

Tokura picked up a 6-1 win in his first set before falling to Jack Schreiber 7-5 in set two. In the third and deciding set, Tokura remained compose, collecting a 1-0 (10-8) win.
