Men's Tennis Earns 7-2 Win Over Linfield

RESULTS

McMINNVILLE, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark men's tennis team picked up its first win of the season on Saturday, defeating the Linfield Wildcats 7-2 in Northwest Conference action.

Kevin Ross earned the Pioneers first singles point from the No. 1 spot, taking down Zachery Lyons 6-2, 7-5. Carter Gee-Taylor and Daniel Hahm each picked up 6-2, 6-2 wins from the No. 2 and No. 3 singles position respectfully.

Scott Monismith made quick work of Lukas Keinman, earning a 6-3, 6-0 win from the No. 4 spot. Ryotaro Tokura earned the Pios final singles win, taking down Tim Hawkins 6-3 in both sets from the No. 5 position.

Gee-Taylor and Monismith teamed up to earn an 8-4 win from No. 2 doubles. Tokura paired up with Lucas Fodor to also earn an 8-4 doubles win for the Pioneers.
