PORTLAND, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark women's tennis team fell 7-2 to the Whitman Missionaries in the final regular season match of the season.

Olivia Sweetman picked up the Pioneers only singles point of the day, taking down her foe in two hard fought sets. Sweetman battled to a 7-6 (7-2) win in the first set before earning a strong 6-1 win in the second.

Sophomore Makena McCluskey and freshman Thersa Grigsby earned the teams other point, taking down Hadley Scherer and Erin Minuth from No. 3 doubles. The pair won 8-5.
