Men's Tennis Defeats Linfield 6-3

RESULTS

PORTLAND, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark men's tennis team defeated the Linfield Wildcats, 6-3, in a non-conference match on Sunday in the L&C Tennis Dome.

Olivier Groot won his fifth match in a row from the No. 1 singles position, blanking Cody Levien 6-0 in both sets. Scott Monismith won his third match in a row, taking down Lukas Kleinman 6-4, 6-2 from the No. 4 spot. Cole Pfeiffer didn't allow his opponent, Tyler Day, to earn a point from the No. 5 position, winning both sets 6-0. Lucas Fodor put up a fight for the Pios final singles point, taking down Joel Trousdale 7-5, 6-1.

The Pioneers only doubles point came from the No. 2 position, with Carter Gee-Taylor and Pfeiffer won 9-7.
