Game One

Game Two

FOREST GROVE, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark baseball team had a rough day in game one of its double-header against Pacific on Sautrday, falling to the Boxers 16-1 in Northwest Conference action. The Boxers jumped to a 6-0 lead in game two before the contest was called in the seventh due to weather.

The Pioneers lone run in game one came in the eighth inning. Trailing 16-0, freshman Mike Kinkenon led off the inning with a single. Kinkenon moved to second after a freshman Kris Brown grounded the out to first base. With two outs, the Boxers helped the Pioneers with an error by the second baseman on a simple infield hit by Eric Hyun. The error allowed Kinkenon to score.

Both Kinkenon and Corey Davis finished the first game 1-for-3 for the Pioneers.

Game two will be completed on Sunday, March 18 prior to the start of game three of the series. Game three is set to begin at 12 p.m.
