PORTLAND, Ore. - The Lewis & Clark baseball team celebrated 'Senior Day' on Satruday afternoon prior to the start of game three of its Northwest Conference series against Pacific Lutheran. The Lutes earned a 3-1 victory in the Pioneers final game of the season.
The Pioneers are losing seven seniors in Giuseppe Baffaro, Roland Greene, Nate Grisham, Sam Holman, Tucker Laurence, Adam Rager and Alex St. Pierre.
The Pioneers end the season with a 5-32 record and 3-21 NWC record. The Lutes conclude things with a 18-14 record and 13-8 conference record.
The Pioneers lone run came on a double by Michael Ball that allowed Geoff Wertz to score from first base.
