Women's Tennis Wins, Men Lose Against PLU

The Pioneer men's tennis team fell 9-0 (results) to Pacific Lutheran Saturday morning in the tennis dome. The women improved their NWC record to 2-0 with a 6-3 (results) victory at Pacific Lutheran.

The women played at Pacific Lutheran. Results of those matches will be posted once we receive them.

For the men,  Adam Rager played the closest match, falling 3-6, 7-6, 10-8 at #5 singles.

With the loss, the Pioneers fall to 0-2 on the season. 

For the women, Amalia Nilsson earned a 6-4, 6-3 victory at #1 singles. Lisa Harunaga fell 6-4 in her first set but then rallied with 6-3, 6-0 victories to win at #2 singles. 

Whitney Debree , in the tightest match of the day. ost her first set 7-5 before coming back with 7-6 and 10-7 wins to earn the point at #3 singles. Theresa Kimenec won at #6 2-6, 6-2, 7-5.

Amalia Nillson and Whitney DeBree dominated #1 doubles with an 8-0 victory. Lisa Harunaga and Maggie Peach teamed for a 9-7 victory at #2 doubles.
