Luke Bass hit a grand slam over the center field fence with a full count in the third inning of Sunday’s doubleheader against Linfield to break open a 2-2 and help the Pioneers sweep a Northwest Conference opponent for the first time since March 2021.  Bass finished game two hitting 2-4 with the home run, a double, a walk, a run scored, and five RBI. His double in the third inning scored a run and put the Pioneers up 2-0. In game one, earlier in the day, Bass hit an RBI single in the 12th inning to put the Pios up 8-5 to secure the win.
