Sophomore Marcus Bast produced three steady outings across the Southern California road trip. He opened the weekend with 11 points, five rebounds and three assists at La Verne, then added 11 points, seven assists, two steals and one block at Occidental. Bast closed the stretch with 20 points on 9-for-15 shooting at Whittier and matched his career highs with eight assists and 20 points while adding four rebounds and two steals. Across the three games, he averaged 14 points, six assists, five rebounds and nearly two steals.
