McDermott posted a team-high five wins between his doubles and singles matches at the Northwest Fall ITA Regional Tournament. In singles, McDermott recorded three wins; the first win put him into the main A Bracket. Once in the bracket, he lost his first-round match but had back-to-back wins in the A Consolation Bracket. In the A Consolation Bracket, McDermott went up a set, before falling to the eventual winner of the bracket in three sets. 

In doubles play, McDermott and senior partner Kristian Peev were one of the #5-8 seeds. They pair finished 2-1 and made the quarterfinals. They opened up the weekend with an 8-2 victory and then added an 8-6 win in the second round. In the Quarterfinals, they fell 8-5 in a tightly-contested match to the fourth-ranked duo from George Fox.
