Heron hit .563 with nine hits, four runs scored and 10 RBI in a 2-2 week last week for Lewis & Clark. The junior first baseman went 9-16 with four doubles, a home run and two walks. Heron hit safely in all four games and posted multiple hits in three games and multiple RBI three times. On Tuesday, Heron went 2-3 with two runs, two doubles and four RBI in a non-conference victory over Corban. He tacked on three RBI in a game-one victory over Pacific Lutheran, including a two-run single in the eighth inning. The junior finished the weekend with three hits in each of the final two games, including three RBI and a homer in game three against the Lutes. Heron leads Lewis & Clark this season in batting average (.306) and RBI (25) and is tied for the team lead with six doubles.Â
