Brandon Gonzaga hit .455, including a double, a run scored, and a walk across three games at Whitman. In the second game on Saturday, Gonzaga hit a two-out double to left field in the seventh inning and subsequently scored when Jack Savant delivered an RBI single, disrupting the Blues' shutout bid. On Sunday, the sophomore recorded his team-leading 12th multi-hit game of the season by going 2-for-4 for the second consecutive game. He also extended his streak of reaching base safely to five games. Over the weekend, Gonzaga had four putouts and five assists, participating in two of the Pioneers' six double plays during the series. He ranks third on the team with a total of 14 double plays this season.
