Junior Katie Ingersoll had an impressive weekend, finishing with a team-high three runs scored and tied for the team-high with four hits in eight at-bats (.500), along with one walk and two stolen bases. In Saturday's undefeated semifinal against Linfield, she went 2-2 with a pair of singles, extending her hitting streak to four games and becoming the second Pioneer to record multiple hits in an NWC Tournament game. In the elimination game against Pacific Lutheran, Ingersoll added a hit and two runs, sparking a rally with a single and a stolen base. On Sunday, during the NWC Championship game, she scored a run, laying down a bunt and advancing on a throwing error, ultimately sliding home on a Gina Ozuna single.
