Became the 1st head women’s lacrosse coach in June 2022.
Developed six All-Northwest Conference players in the team’s first season of NWC play.
Eight players earned NWC Scholar-Athlete Recognition.
Three student-athletes were named CSC Academic All-District.
One player was named to the IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll.
Led Lewis & Clark to their best season with a record of 11-6 overall and 4-4 in the NWC in their first season as an NWC member.
Earned her first win at Lewis & Clark on April 17, 2024, with a 14-13 victory at the University of Puget Sound.
Earned her first home win against Linfield University, 14-12, on February 26, 2025.
Welcomed 13 student-athletes as her inaugural class for the 2024 season.    
 
Head Coach at Linfield University (2018-22, NCAA DIII) 
Led the Wildcats to a pair of second-place finishes and a third-place showing after the program had 13-straight seasons below .500.
Guided the program to four-straight winning seasons and the first four winning conference seasons in program history.
Coached the program’s first-ever NWC Rookie of the Year, Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Region honoree.
Developed 16 All-Conference honorees.
Nine players earned NWC Scholar-Athlete Recognition.
Served as Interim Senior Woman Administrator and the SAAC Co-Advisor.
Recipient of the NCAA Division III Inclusion Spotlight Initiative in 2021.

Led the program to the Oregon School Activities Association State Championship and the Silver Cup in 2018.  
 
Lindsay Newman enters her 3rd season as the head women’s lacrosse coach at Lewis & Clark College in the spring of 2026.
 
Newman started the women’s lacrosse program at Lewis & Clark, which played their first varsity season in the spring of 2024. She had an inaugural recruiting class of 13 student-athletes that played 13 regular-season games and earned the program’s first-ever win in the final game of the season, a 14-13 victory over the University of Puget Sound on the road, on Apr. 17, 2024.

In the program’s first season as a member of the Northwest Conference, Lewis & Clark finished in a three-way tie for fourth place with a 4-4 record and missed out on the NWC postseason tournament due to a tiebreaker. The team finished with an 11-6 mark overall, winning their first three games of the season. Six players earned All-NWC honors, eight were named NWC Scholar-Athletes, three earned CSC Academic All-District and Kate Meinhard was named to the IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll.
