L&C Resume 
Became the 14th head women’s basketball coach in June 2021.
Developed three All-Northwest Conference players, including First-Team selection and 1,000-point scorer Delsie Johnson.
Led the Pioneers to their best season since 2017-18 with an 11-14 overall record and a sixth place, 6-10 NWC finish in her first season.
Earned her first career and home win on November 9, 2021 with a 76-60 victory over Multnomah University.
Welcomed six first years to begin the 2023-24 season, the largest recruiting class for the Pioneers since the scrapped 2020-21 COVID season.   
 
Assistant Coach at William Smith College (2017-21, NCAA DIII) 
Joined William Smith's coaching staff for the 2017-18 season as the primary assistant.
Helped the Herons to a 46-32 overall record, including a 31-23 mark in the Liberty League and three consecutive Liberty League Tournament berths.
Mentored six All-Liberty League players, including 2018-19 Player of the Year and All-American Mia Morrison.
Member of William Smith’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee
Created the “Guest Coach” networking and donor program.
Planned programming within the school's athletics leadership and life skills program committee.
 
Assistant Coach at Lynchburg College (2014-17, NCAA DIII) 
Coached three seasons at her alma mater under Abby Pyzik Smith.
Helped Lynchburg post a 66-21 overall record, including a 40-8 mark in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
Mentored eight All-ODAC players, three of them First Team selections, three 1,000-point scorers, and two All-South players.
In her first season as an assistant, she helped the Hornets advance past the semi-finals of the ODAC tournament for the first time in school history.
Guided Lynchburg to their first NCAA Championships tournament appearance, tournament, and regular season titles in the 2015-16 season.
Helped the Hornets to their first win at the NCAA Championships tournament and an appearance in the second round in 2016-17.
Assisted with player skill development, implementation of game strategy, scouting, recruiting, and team travel.
  
Played at Lynchburg College (2012-14, NCAA DIII) 
Transferred to Lynchburg College for final two seasons after she was a member of the Hardin-Simmons University women’s basketball program her freshman year.
Played in 52 games and started eight in two seasons while scoring 209 points and dishing 110 assists.
Scored a career-high 13 points on January 22, 2014, at Hollins.  
Set the program record for assists in a game with 10 against Virginia Wesleyan College on February 11, 2014.
Finished second on the team with 70 assists in her senior season.
Ranked 10th in the ODAC in assists per game in the 2013-14 season.
  
Ann Dorris enters her 3rd season as the head women’s basketball coach at Lewis & Clark College in the winter of 2023.
 
Dorris took over a women’s program in 2021 that won a total of three Northwest Conference games and five games overall in two years. The Pioneers doubled their NWC win total (6-10) for a sixth-place finish and an 11-14 overall record. Lewis & Clark finished second in the conference with 40.0 total rebounds per game and first with 27.0 defensive rebounds per game.

During an injury-plagued season, the Pioneers finished 2022-23 with a 2-23 overall record and a 1-15 mark in NWC play.  Lewis & Clark’s lone conference win was a 93-90 double-overtime thriller at Whitworth University. Karli Mukai set the program record for points in a single game with 38, and the Pioneers won in Spokane for the first time since January 5, 2018. The team’s 93 points were the third-highest points scored in the NWC last season, and they made the fourth-highest three-pointers (12) in the conference against Whitworth.
