Katelyn Dendas returns for her fourth season in the Spring of 2026. Dendas' primary role is working with the team's outfielders. 

Dendas helped lead Lewis & Clark to their best season in program history in 2025. Softball broke their program-records for overall (32) and conference (21) wins and earned a trip to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history. The Pioneers earned votes in the National Fastpitch Coaches Assocation Top-25 poll for the first time ever and made it to the Northwest Conference Championship Series for a second-straight season. Three of the team's four primary outfielders earned All-Conference honors and senior Sam Gildersleeve earned All-Region honors for the second time in her career. 

During the 2024 season, Dendas helped Lewis & Clark to one of their most successful seasons in program history. The Pioneers set single-season records for wins (28) and conference wins (20) and made it to the Northwest Conference Tournament for the second time in program history. The Pioneers earned their first two NWC Tournament wins in program history and advanced to the NWC Championship Series for the first time. 

Dendas played four seasons at Division II Cal Poly Humboldt (Humboldt State). During her four seasons (2019-22), Dendas appeared in 92 games and made 77 starts. She finished her career with 60 hits, 36 runs, 26 RBI and 20 extra-base hits. The outfielder was recognized for her academic performance in all four years.
